A client brief, taken all the way to release
Lagnam Matrimony is a matrimonial Android app developed for Smart Space Technologies. This was paid freelance work, delivered in March 2026 in approximately 15 days. The client owns the product; I independently handled its development and release.
My contribution
I worked from the client's requirements through implementation, testing, and deployment. My scope included the React Native application, authentication, backend/API work, Razorpay payment gateway integration, and Google Play submission.
Learning a new platform while shipping
I came into the project with React and full-stack development experience, but without prior React Native experience. I used AI-assisted development extensively to learn the framework and implement the app, working through the platform-specific pieces required for release.
The release details that mattered
Two areas needed particular attention: configuring the Play Store signing-key identifiers for authentication, and resolving Razorpay integration issues. Both were addressed as part of getting the application ready for production.
Outcome
The app was released on Google Play. It was a complete client delivery: requirements, implementation, payment integration, and deployment. Product marketing and subsequent business operations remained with the client.
